Membership Categories:

Active

Individuals having responsibility in Medical Staff/Credentialing activities. Active Members are required to pay dues and are eligible to vote and hold office.

Associate

Those who do not work directly in Medical Staff/Credentialing activities at their place of employment, however, are interested in the overall goals and objectives of the AKAMSP organization. Associate members are required to pay dues but are not eligible to vote or hold office.

Honorary

Those who are deemed deserving of membership by virtue of their outstanding reputation, noteworthy contributions to AKAMSP, or their previous long-standing service to AKAMSP, and who continue to exemplify high standards of professional and ethical conduct. Honorary membership is determined and approved by the Board of Directors. Honorary members do not pay dues and are not eligible to vote or hold office or chair a committee; however, they may serve in an advisory position to a committee.
